Cooperation overview

Flushing bank engaged CoreValue to implement a Data Governance initiative. As a growing business, Flushing Bank needed to improve data quality and integrity throughout their organization. With CoreValue’s assistance they were able to make key organizational, procedural, and technical changes to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and lower regulatory compliance costs. Over the course of the project CoreValue worked closely with Flushing Bank’s management to put in place a Data Governance Committee and working groups to draft an authoritative data dictionary, resolve definitional conflicts, establish data ownership, and draft policies for data entry, access, and management. CoreValue’s data science experts also worked to assess the client’s data architecture and provide recommendations for further optimization.
